O-Shape Monopole Antenna Structure with Etching and Impedance Matching for Digital TV System Application

• The antenna was designed from basic CPW monopole antenna with the rectangular patch.

• The antenna was designed for digital TV band (510-790 MHz).

• The antenna was used the etching technique at the center of antenna structure.

• The rectangular impedance matching technique was added on both sides of patch.

• The bandwidth is 78.12% (482-1100 MHz).

• The radiation pattern of the proposed antenna is the Omni-directional.

• The antenna are compact size and easy tuning.

• The antenna can be used covering the digital TV system.
