The Ring Antenna with Circular Probe Feeding for MIMO Systems

This paper proposes the ring antenna with circular probe feeding for MIMO systems. The ring antenna structure was adjusted using the circular probe feedings on the ground plane to increase bandwidth and adjusting the array antenna four Cases to compare the bandwidth. The structural simulation technique was used Computer Simulation Technology (CST) program for analyze the antenna characteristics such as S21, the envelope correlation coefficient and radiation patterns. The measurement result reveals that the orthogonal position is the best case for the frequency ranges 1 - 4 GHz. The mutual coupling is less than-20dB and the average gain is 4.19dBi. The radiation patterns are bi-directional style.
