The Structure Tuning of Plugs-Shaped Monopole Antenna for Wireless Communication Applications

ABSTRACT

In this paper the Structure Tuning of Plugs-Shaped Monopole Antenna has been designed for DCS, PCS, UMTS, Bluetooth and Wlan in compliance with IEEE 802.11 b/g standard applications the technique of adding stub and slot etching tuning on rectangular patch can enhanced the impedance bandwidth. The measurement result were found that, impedance bandwidth of 47.90% (1.54-2.51 GHz), average gain of 3.14 DBI and radiation pattern is omnidirectional. The proposed antennas have simple designed, easy tuning, compact size and light weight.
